You fucking retards had seven months knowing that shit was gonna go down again. Seven months all I heard was "oh buddy, just you wait until that second wave hits, oh yessiree"

You had all that time to get prepared.

If you were making a plan to panic shop when it happened, it's not panic shopping, it's bad planning and mental illness. You had no reason to be taken by surprise this time. You're just an idiot, you're going to make my blood pressure go up, and I hate you.

Good night.

I'm still on the same case of toilet paper I had back pre-COVID! I should pick up another case soon. I think I'm down to my last few rolls.

I have so much food I had to put some in a dresser...lmao.

9mm, .22, and 00 shot levels all look good. I could use some more 5.56mm.

It's crazy how many people don't stock their house with enough provisions for more than a week.

Are you a prepper?

[–] Titus_of_Voat 2 points (+2|-0)

You could say that.

I don't make it a lifestyle the way some people do. I just like the peace of mind knowing my basic needs are met if something unexpected happens. Could be anything from unexpected job loss to civil unrest. You never know.

Everyone should have at least a month of supplies at the house imo.

I didn't realize people were panic shopping again. My mom mentioned how she was going to make chili but the store was sold out of canned tomatoes, but they did have a 10 for $10 special going on so i thought nothing of it.

I'm still pretty well stocked from February, but I guess I'll go buy a few rolls of ass paper before that sells out again.

It's only chatter so far, and I hope for my own sanity that it stays that way. States are talking about locking down, so the shortages are on everyone's mind again.

Some random markets have been hit hard with shortages just within the last few weeks already. Lumber is now 300-400% the price of what it was 2 months ago. I hope that's not an indicator that the rest of the markets are going that route.

What if it's all orchestrated by Big Pharma to sell you blood pressure pills?

[–] E-werd 2 points (+2|-0)

This is the truth. Also to sell anxiety medication, and anti-diarrhea pills, and acid reflux pills.

I may have too many cans of Bush's Southwestern style beans. Let me know if you're interested after the election.

Hope you've also got some fans and adequate ventilation in your residence.

I'm hoarding uphuks, they will be the currency of the apocalypse, a currency accepted by broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, and green bean communities will prove quite valuable.

It's capitalism, supply and demand. Suck it up - the customer is always right.

[–] Dii_Casses 3 points (+3|-0)

Artificial throttling of business by government fiat isn't.

But yes, suck it up is the right attitude. Failure to plan is planning to fail, and anticipating how the masses will behave is just one more thing to plan for.

Of course rationing and queuing for groceries are unheard of in socialist nations.

I moved to So Cal 3 years ago, with the earthquakes and such I have a one month food supply for 4 and my friend who works at kimberly clark I have enough TP and kleenex to last a year. I reload all my own ammo so I'm ready for anything.

I got a 12 pack of TP stashed in the SUV so it won't get used by accident, just in case.
