So the office building I work at has an ATM on the first floor. There have also been construction crews gutting and redoing the entire first floor (removing a kitchen and fitness center and prepping the area for more office space).
This guy drove from two hours away to figure out why the "home company" that monitors the ATM lost contact with it. He gets in and the ATM is no longer there. It's just gone. Turns out that the construction company had moved it. Oh man was he pitching a fit. I figure out what's going on and the simplicity of why there's a problem and a lack of proper professional communication is just hilarious to me. Of course, I'm laughing. He sees the humor in it so he's not mad that I'm laughing but he's still pretty pissed. Great guy, we talked for a couple of minutes on the elevator. So now he's running around on several floors of the building trying to find the manager of the construction company so he can find the missing ATM.
I think someone is going to have a proper flogging before the day is over.
I'm so embarrassed to say this but... I read rape instead of rage, I was mildly infuriated by OP because named it "the best", like what is wrong with you, but at the same time so anxious to click and read the post. My stupid curiosity... :/
Well, it's still mildly infuriating what OP wrote, but reading the comments here, I guess it's a common problem.
