A few minutes ago the clock struck 12. It's now the 18th of March. I am 18 years old. I'm now an adult.

Nothing has changed in the minute I've been an adult. I still feel like a mighty faggot.

This made me cry. I remember being 18.

Use your freedom as much as you want. Abuse it, even. You don't know what 19 will hold for you.

Happy Birthday, OPIIT!

LOLS, me, too. It was so long ago that I've had to renew my driver's license. Once :-)

18 is nothing, you're not truly an adult until you can comprehend your impending mortality, coupled with the fact that each day your body is getting weaker and the people around you could care less.

That's a morbid view, I'll step back a bit. Happy Birthday man, now start paying taxes :)

<nods> Good to know. I'll write that down and put it in a time capsule :-)

You feel like that until your mid-20s, and then you feel like a huge phony. Welcome to adulthood. You'll be fine, just try to do your best and not be too big of a fuck up. It's the best you can hope.

Except we can bait you across US state lines for sex now, or you can tell us where you live and we can drive there to fuck you. Also, contracts you sign are now legally binding.
