Talked with my boss for a couple of hours about managerial type stuff.
Am now apparently a "corporate suit" (despite us not wearing suits). Was well received when we announced ourselves for a tour of the facility and wanted direct feedback from users.
I am now told "Don't get hit by a bus." It's a phrase I use about someone who knows something about the company no one else knows.
Was apologized to on by someone on behalf of someone else for an offensive comment the second person made when told that, yes, they have to actually log on to the freaking company website in order to see sensitive company information.
Managers and policy makers agreed with me that we need to ban Internet Explorer on our computer systems (that is a win that cannot be overstated).
Also, fixed a fire on production in less than 5 minutes and had a coworker and my boss scratching their heads as to how I did it so fast. (Easy, I knew what I broke...)

Really? That's not a lot.
On the other hand, I'm getting over $10K back on my taxes this year along with the larger paycheck from the tax cuts.
But on the other other hand, I have to put $8K of that towards a loan I took out for solar.
But on the other other other hand, I can finally get a freeze dryer.
