Disclaimer: I'm just pulling this thought out of my ass without sources. It struck me today that right and left leaning organizations have different classification for success. Right leaning organizations prioritize results. Left leaning organizations prioritize methodology. Take a business like a restaurant as an example. A right leaning approach would point to profits as success. A left leaning approach would pick some other or several arbitrary goals such as, staff gender or racial inclusivity, ingredient origin integrity, sliding scale price inequality dictated by identity, etc. This tendency of left leaning organizations to focus on a larger vision and neglect the bottom line is a recipe to almost always lose to a competitor in a free market. There is a way to create a successful business that also achieves arbitrary goals, but it is a cart before the horse situation. First post profit then you can afford to experiment. Left leaning thought considers the planning process and the methodology itself as success which is not a formula for survival. Hence the association of get woke go broke.
