I read what you said the other day in that other topic about talking over people. I used to do the same and still do and its a hard habit to break especially if you haven't got a lot of people close who are willing to call you on it. Sometimes it's just best to nod and smile and let them carry the conversation.
Wow, didn't think anyone would actually pay attention to that. Yea thanks for understanding. I have been trying to hold my tongue during conversations now. It's kind of hard, because I have to draw a line somewhere in between talking too much and not talking at all. I think this stems from me being introverted by nature, so I don't really have good conversation flow.
Yet from the other persons point of view it seems like you are devaluing what they are saying by interjecting with your stuff but as you said it's not like that from our side of things. If you listen in to others talking(which isn't natural anyway) you will hear the one listening usually fills in with one line rubbish filler to hold up their end and it's harder for more intelligent people to talk shit like that.
I just realized I subconsciously do this to people, and I wonder now if this whole time they thought I was trolling them. This explains why nobody likes talking to me.
