Buzzfeed knows about fake news so fast because they make their money aggregating it, whether it's supposedly "debunking" fake news someone else produced or pushing their homegrown fake news (they were making fake news before the term was popular).

Because there is a network of left wing social justice people on twitter and social media who form groups. There was a blocklist of sorts going around when the Zoe Quinn thing was happening and a few groups formed around that blocklist. I'd guess the left wing radicals hired by google to police their videos and the left wing radicals that work at buzzfeed are probably talking shop in some of these groups.
