Part of the problem is everyone expects everything to be available all the time. If you're frequenting business on weekends, you are part of the reason they are open and people are working. This isn't always bad, some people my want/need those hours, but there are many who I'm sure would rather be off.

People have only themselves to blame. No one put a gun to their heads and forced them to give up relaxation happy fun time. All these people complaining about are whining about things they've done to themselves.
