If I remember correctly .22lr kills more people than any other caliber.
it's not a bb gun lol, a 22 FMJ will penetrate deep enough to do the job.
Hearing is no joke, I like my 15 pellet 00 but I keep some electric earmuffs next to it ... really don't want experience that in an enclosed space lol.

My CCW is standard fmj 9mm, Springfield XD. I shoot often and like to cycle them out, good feel for all of them.
.22LR pistol around the house. Yes. Get over it "Just a roided up BB gun"... If I have to suddenly grab something and fire it, I don't want to be deaf for 6 mins.
