Does Carter really need a SS detail? I mean... who is honestly going after this guy at this point? He's probably the most folksy, inoffensive President in history. He's best known for building houses for hurricane victims.

If he didn't have it, he'd be asking for trouble. I can see some nut job wanting to make a name for himself trying to harm him. It would also look very bad for us as a country to allow him to be harmed.
