well, nobody hides posts because the whole feature was not implemented yet! :P
I have a huge backlog of features to implement. For the mobile site I placed the arrows on a place further away from the thumbnail so you don't end up tapping it accidentally and made them slightly bigger
Having them further away from the thumbnail should help resolve the issue. While slightly annoying, I've found that going to comment first helps make it easier to vote.
