This doesn't seem normal for obvious reasons. My shower had them and now my kitchen sink. I get big ass crickets that just show up next to my drains. What should I bitch about to the construction company?
Crickets love damp places, and it's likely the piping was replaced partly or mostly because of leaking. During the replacement, the damp places wocruld have been stirred up, maybe even cleaned up, and possibly drying out. Crickets gotta be crickets, so like Butler_crosley said, they're just going to the drains for water. Glue boards and a good shop vac work wonders.

It was replaced preemptively by the HOA since the plumbing was over 40 years old.
did you have any windows or outside doors replaced at the same time? May want to check and make sure those are properly sealed
Actually yes, all windows and the front door is not sealed properly. Maybe that could be the reason even though they keep showing up in the sink
That's probably how they came in, the sink just happens to be where they go for water. Some sort of barrier forming insecticide plus proper sealing should help prevent future invasions. Same thing under your sink where the pipes enter the cabinets (that's probably where they hide during the day).
They may not be coming up through the drains, just going there for water. Usually PVC is too slick for them to climb it, so they may be actually hiding somewhere else. I know you said plumbing was replaced but did you have any windows or outside doors replaced at the same time? May want to check and make sure those are properly sealed. Also check the pipe entry points to the house, if any pipe was replaced there then the seals may not be correct. Some foam spray sealant should fix that problem.
