LPT: How To Not Purchase Plastic Bags

I like to go down to the shop everyday and get something to drink. I'm not carrying a bottle in my hands until I get home.

The solution I have is to go to the next store, something like Kmart, where they have bags for free. I grab a few from the self checkouts and smuggle them out of the store. All free. No harm done.

That is how I save $0.20.

For a while, supermarkets here have been charging for plastic bags. $0.10 or $0.20 for every bag used. That's an outrage. They go from offering them for free to charging for them "for the environment". I like to go down to the shop everyday and get something to drink. Of course I buy something small just so I can grab a few plastic bags. I don't steal. Win-win. I get a cheap thing and I get plastic bags for free.
