Yeah, I don't see it as any real loss for them. They'll get to take an unexpected holiday before returning to their redesigned/new mansions. Burning everything down every few years is probably just what the doctor ordered to alleviate some boredom.
On the plus side, if Malibu burns to the ground then those beaches might finally be open to the public again
