I think it would be just as easy to compile a similar list of the other side. How many right wing nutters have faced federal charges for criminal behavior? Usually motivated by race/identity/politics.

Also calling some one misogynist or racist is not equivalent of calling someone a mudslime/nigger/kike etc.

Reddit is a gold mine for that yes, just as voat is a gold mine for the opposite.

Everything is on fucking fire right now. Politics has reached a new low in morality while simultaneously reaching a new high of participation.

Both sides are guilty of some outrageous partisanship and many are participating in some heinous shit to get the upperhand.

The big issue is when you generalize the population into 2 basic political classes and assume beliefs and actions based on that. It quickly falls apart when you start discussing with individuals who hold their own beliefs on what's important.

I've been saying for 2 years that both sides need to stop whining and crying and sit down at the adults' table and talk.

Each time I am told by the left "There will be no civility and no talking." The right says nothing because they're already sitting there and accommodating all the nonsense with things like Roy Moore allegations, Kavenaugh hearings, etc ad naseum.

And then this...

Well it's no wonder you have people on the right acting out. How do you make someone radical? You radicalize them by constantly berating and punishing them. So, do I have any pity for the left on this? Nope. None at all. Do I intend to hold anyone on the right responsible for anything a republican does? Nope. Poke the bear with a stick long enough and the bear will bite you. You have only yourself to blame. Again, pardon any "you" collective confusion.

That's not the issue. A two-party system is what you get as a natural result of "first past the post" voting systems. CGP Grey on youtube has an incredible explanation of what this is, why it happens, and a solution in a follow-up video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7tWHJfhiyo

Plain and simple: It's a mob or group mentality that convinces people that they should box everyone into a group to vilify. And the left is very good, oh so very good at dehumanizing people by classifying them, putting that demographic term into a box, giving it a different name, and then non-stop berating of that different name. It's easier to denigrate a term than it is a person.
