Today I spent a couple hours playing '90s console games. I missed out on the Sega Saturn while it was in production.

But I've played almost enough vidya for this life and now I'm getting into traditional games like chess, poker, and bridge.

I like to get away from sitting in front of a screen, but do end up playing online a lot for the huge player bases.

Lately, I have been into playing old N64 games with my 6 year old. She loves playing Majora's Mask and Mario Kart. I have played Magic:the Gathering for almost 20 years. These days I don't play much, but for quite a while I was huge into playing tournaments but it gets expensive and I got sick of the people. Way too many 30 year old ham planets with hygiene issues that live in their moms basement.

On N64 I'd be playing deathmatches in Goldeneye or Perfect Dark. Maybe not appropriate for your daughter atm :v

The people that come with a game can be a bummer. If I want to play bridge face to face instead of online, 90% of the players here are senior citizens. Hygiene is good but I'm very competitive and many of them just wanna hang out.

We play a little bit of Perfect Dark and 007. She mostly runs around blowing stuff up, but she thinks it's mean if you shoot a person. Lol

At least the old people smell is better than the stench of onions and desperation.
