they're fucking big. this is a japanese hornet and it was about this big
I guess it's looking for a new place to nest? never seen one before however I killed about a million of it's drones this summer with the electric fly swatter... they like sugary drinks as much as I do.
yeah we have a high of 8 celsius. I bet it was looking for a place to nest for the winter. I saw and swatted a drone about an hour before. My first instinct was to catch it but it never landed and was only here for about 10 seconds hovering over my dying balcony plants and checking out my old toolbox.
