Did they finally actually show the proof. Last I heard there was a flimsy excuse of not releasing it b/c they didn't want to reveal their spying capabilities. All I could think was... well now they know their consulate is bugged. I'm 99.9% sure the saudis did this at any rate. I just found Turkey's previous reasoning to be weak. They're probably just extending the headlines at this point. At this point it's just a tyrant pointing at a dictator and saying the other is worse. "Saudi Royalty" is probably the greatest euphemism of modern times.
No, they didn't release the footage, and I doubt they ever will. I don't really consider it to be a flimsy excuse, as whoever recorded the footage would most likely be identified and in danger.
If there wasn't footage, the US would have made it clear by now that they had not seen any footage.
That's a good point. I'd honestly considered bugging was more likely than a well placed spy but both are certainly feasible. Maybe not so flimsy.
Yeah, this has been an ongoing thing for two years and they just brought the US into the fray with the Saudi thing by showing them video proof of the killing.
