I live in a small town of around 6,000. I could be becoming a communist in that I'm nitpicking all of this choice. It's interesting how many food shops of all kinds are in this town alone.
There's...
x1 supermarket
x3 petrol stations
x2 convenience stores
x1 pizza place
x2 bakeries
x1 butcher
x3 fast food places
x4 bakeries
x1 fruit and vege store
x3 fish and chip shops
x4 ethnic restaurants (sushi, indian, turkish, thai)
x5 restaurants
x3 pubs with restaurants
All of this in a town of 6,000. Surely we're not this hungry are we?
Between these food shops are useless dull $2 dollar shops selling cheap Chinese stuff with the occasional clothing or tech store here and there.
That's nothing compared to what we have in my small city of around 4000. If I remember, I will update you with a list after I get off work.
