At some indistinguishable point in her life RBG began to care more about becoming an important historical figure than performing her role. Whether this moment preceded her supreme court appointment is debatable. From that moment on she saw the world from 6 ft under and began to act accordingly. Justice may be blind, but her blindness is a fixed gaze on her tombstone. She holds vigil and cares to her grave surrounded by the dead while behind her back the living world goes completely ignored.

It seems that since Scalia died, Ginsburg has been facing more backlash in general and her resolve to stay on the bench has only strengthened. Now she seems more concerned with becoming the longest serving justice.

Even prior to Scalia's death and took it upon herself to write majority and dissenting opinions that were more about pushing her own "right side of history" interpretation of the law than an accurate interpretation. Not saying her opinions were completely baseless, but they tilted more toward opinion than objective fact.

Did she just appropriate Reagan!? As a white male, I'm triggered.
