Actually, blood "tastes" like metal, and I say it "tastes" because it's actually your sense of smell acting there.

Also metals don't have any smell at all, it's actually their different levels of oxidation, here you can read about that

uhh i've never chewed on glass, but if I did then the metallic taste would be the blood oozing from the cuts inside of my mouth :p

Oh yeah! I recommend rolling it up in aluminium foil, but I'm sure you could smoke it in a crack pipe.
