My daughter starts 1st grade today. All summer it's been a balancing act, taking her to a different place every morning before work. I haven't been "on time" all summer because of all the changes in travel times, all the construction, all the bullshit that comes with getting the kid ready. Now I'm back to going to work early so I can get her off the bus in early afternoon, now I get my evenings back.
