Most do. I remeber the 80's and 90's where he was a star. Watch those same movies now, and I cringe.

However, I watch 24 and was engrossed while it aired. And now I watch it, and cannot stand Kiefer's over-breathing.

I guess when you get a different interpretation of a role that hits you correctly, you enjoy it until you get over the novelty.

Nick Cage is a novelty.

I'm not sure I ever watched that one! I was more of a Snake Eyes, 8MM, The Rock, Guarding Tess kind of Nick Cage fan.

I have to admit I'm mostly an ironic fan of some of Cage's work, but when a guy makes so damn many movies, its pretty clear that he's got something right more times than not.

I actually have to give props for National Treasure too. I mean, who else has mentioned freemasonry in hollywood and gotten away with it?
