Scrub it and move along, nothing to see here.

So I wonder what the actual event was about. Did Palestinian rockets antagonize Israel to launch airstrikes? Or did Israeli air strikes commence after Israeli rockets? The ambiguity is annoying here.

I'll take a wild guess:

10x $800 hand made dirty rockets were launched into Israel. 8 were intercepted by the iron dome at a cost of $25,000 per interception. 2 slipped by and hit Israeli countryside since they are unguided rockets. Israel launches counter-attack by napalm striking a village in Gaza.

That's pure conjecture, but I'm pretty sure that's exactly what happened.

That is a highly detailed conjecture you got there. I'm impressed. Are those real values you used? I knew war was big bucks but damn $25k to block a missile?

That was the old value I remember. It's $40,000 per shell now.

I remember it used to be a strategy after the Iron Dome was installed to make shittier cheaper rockets to bankrupt Israel by using the iron dome full time. Guess who ends up funding the iron dome indirectly.....not Israel.
