the kids you mean? bears will go eat your ass in the water too. Monkeys swim, I dunno about apes. Bears swim though I've seen a brown bear going across my parents lake once. Bears own their environment more than any human ever could.

I've only seen them foraging dumpsters, but one time it was a family. I waited in my car until they got bored of my horn, all knowing full well who was in charge. Not me.
my uncle was telling me a story about how he left a grocery bag in his car and it got written off because a big brown bear demoed the exterior trying to get into it. The buyer of the car was a school girl and she got a deal because mechanically it was sound, just a shit ton of scratches all over it. You were smart to stay inside. They aren't nice to their food. I go to the dump when I wanna get some bear pics... they're always there and no one can deter them
I've seen vids of adults running and of cubs climbing a tree. I'd rather not combine the images.
At least they don't swim.
