You know the place you work is cool when your department (IT) nearly all have concealed carry permits and are talking about taking lunch hour to go to the range.

No worries. I'm good where I am. Interesting work, a sort commute, and good pay. That's pretty much all I can ask for.

I ask for a lot more. Stable company, great people, fun work, near by, great pay, good perks.

I did have one job in the past that came with a perk of a concierge service. I miss that.

I guess I'm a bit more transient in nature. I don't know how long I'll stay at this job - probably until I get bored - then I'll be on my way.
