My main computer does not have either. It stays connected to VPN.

My laptop has those drivers deleted. It stays connected to VPN.

My phone doesn't stay anywhere near what I'm doing to pick anything up. It stays connected to VPN.

My backup phone has a firewall that I've installed. Nothing gets in or out until I approve it. It has, so far, been 100% effective. All the same, it remains connected to a VPN account full time.

My tablet has the same firewall and VPN.

I have a raspberry pi google assistant that I built and programmed with a custom sound so that I know when it's listening after it supposedly detects the keyphrase. Youtube never sets it off. Music never sets it off. Talking amongst people never sets it off. But television shows, even shows from the 90s, does. However, there's a programmatic filter in place that detects if it's background noise or me talking to it. That filter is 100% accurate. The fact that television shows (not even movies, just TV shows) sets it off indicates that there's a hidden sound we cannot hear but it does that has been broadcast for decades for various purposes.
