Taylor sounds like a real loser tbh.

At the time of his death, Taylor's blood-alcohol content was 0.18, more than twice the legal limit for driving.

Taylor was facing a felony arrest warrant when police challenged him outside the store, according to court records. Gill cites Taylor's Facebook entries as proof that he knew about the warrant, which was for an alleged probation violation.

Taylor wrote on Aug. 7, "I feel my time is coming soon, my nightmears are telling me. im gonna have warrants out for my arrest soon ... ill die before I go do a lot of time in a cell."

On Aug. 9 he wrote: "I finely realize I hit rock bottom. im homeless I havnt slept in two days ... as I walk thrw this vally of shadow of death I am fearing evil. its about my time soon."

He probably was. My issue is these twitchy cops that shouldn't have a badge. The three officer involved shooting vids I've posted range between maliciousness, incompetence, and fear. I could see where one could try to make the argument this cop was following procedure. By cop standards this store owner was following police procedure.

Neither of it seems right. He shouldn't have run up blind on 3 guys casually walking out of a store gun drawn until he better assessed the situation a bit more. He shot a guy in the back b/c who was walking away b/c he couldn't see his hands and that's ok somehow.

That situation w/ the store owners kid would have been deemed a good shooting by cop standards... he couldn't see his hands while he was in the vehicle etc.

Just makes me mad to watch these stories cycle out of the news in a day or 2 it seems while I get to hear months and years of media manufactured outrage about some criminal that died in a justified shooting. Like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.

This is a fascinating watch of how the media manufactured the Zimmerman story to get those ad bucks. George Zimmermans a total asshole don't get me wrong. It's just amazing the lengths they went to avoid telling the full story.

You make very valid points.

The worst one I've seen recently was the man who was gunned down while crawling in the hotel hallway.

The poor guy was begging for his life and cop shoots him down with a rifle. That was murder in my eyes.

Yeah Daniel Shaver. The AR-15 the cop used to kill him had the words "you're fucked" scratched into the dust cover or something. He'd been scolded or something by a superior who noticed it on the dept ar he was issued before the shooting ever happened. The judge wouldn't let that evidence be presented as it might "bias the jury". Dude became a cop b/c he wanted to kill someone. Rational cops aren't gonna scratch graffiti on their dept issued weapons like that
