She passed away in a firey car crash of October 2016, drunk driver. Never came forward, but witness testimony supported high speeds and erractic driving before he impacted with her car.
I 100% agree. Keep it in the privacy of your own home. I dont want you shoving your beliefs down my throat. Im happy you are independent, but I dont need to know about it.
Was your friend lost to substance abuse, or something like that?
Not quite the same, but I lost my closest friend back in November to cancer. I'm still having a hard time over that. Losing family members is one thing, I've done enough of that too, but a friend is quite another. You don't get to choose your family, but you choose your friends and that makes it a lot harder.
For better or for worse, I feel similarly about the legalization of drugs to how I feel about queers and legalization of same-sex marriage. I don't think it should be restricted because prohibition has time and time again shown that it only makes conditions worse and more dangerous, but at the same time I don't think anybody should be doing it. If people must do it, I'd prefer they're at least as safe and in the open as possible.
