The tweet:

Children are being used by some of the worst criminals on earth as a means to enter our country. Has anyone been looking at the Crime taking place south of the border. It is historic, with some countries the most dangerous places in the world. Not going to happen in the U.S.

The conversation i had with @pmya about "the best way to tranport yourself using 12 infants.

So I now have this vision in my head that Mexicans are stocking up on kids, pumping them full of helium, tying them to their couch and then comfortably float towards the promisedland!

That's fucking retarded and would never work. Helium only makes balloons float because the rubber balloons expand fast enough that the helium inside is less dense than the air outside of the balloon, so if you're working with a material that doesn't expand, such as human flesh, they aren't going to achieve buoyancy. Plus, you'd have to flush out all their bodily fluids, which includes faeces and stomach acid, and that's just plain nasty and a pain to deal with.

A much better method would be to find some morbidly obese kids, give them liposuction, and then fill the remaining loose skin with helium. If you keep the skin elastic enough, inflate it slowly, and stretch the skin out as it's being inflated, then maybe you can get them to float, but I can only give you maybe. You might have to face the hard truth that it's just not a reliable mode of transportation.

You need to think things through more.

They would most definitely be buoyant, humans are buoyant when filled with carbon dioxide let alone helium. They would not, however, float through the air like a balloon.
