I can't imagine how progressives are able to align and reconcile ideology with Muslims--the most regressive major religion. Of course it isn't about having a logically consistent position since the left is just using their various minorities to increase power and will sellout them whenever possible. If the right could back down on the religious nonsense, selling out citizens in favor of corporations, absurd anti-drug morality policing, and wasteful military spending it really would be a great party.

Basically I agree. with a few other caveats . . . . but yes.

Sure, it wouldn't be realistic or even desirable for everyone to agree on everything (especially nuances).

Morality is not inherent in human beings and must be taught. Religion is an excellent if flawed tool for that. Having a weak military means a weak nation. The streets are flooded with legal pills and you think we should be more lax about it?

I think by "left" and "right" you mean "liberals" and "conservatives." They're not synonymous. You wouldn't call an ancap or facist a "conservative," or a communist or socialist a "liberal."
