I read this story earlier today with great interest ... as I was once an ICBM missile guy myself for almost 40 years. But be aware, these were the security guys, basically young kids that guard facilities and such (not true missile techs), with zero access to much more than opening a gate for the most part. More like mall cops with a gun charged with providing security for real operation and maintenance folks who do have access to nukes. Now this of course doesn't excuse the bad behavior, and if they were doing drugs on duty, it could lead to serous problems, however, as with most things (and rightfully so when it involves nuclear weapons, I suppose), the press makes much more of it than it really is. I'm just commenting because to the layman, it sounds far worse than it is.
