I was excited. When you said 'built' I thought you meant from scratch.
Using the Reddit code will save a lot of work and make it easier, but I really don't like it.

It was very poorly designed, bloated, doesn't always load well and is absolute shit for mobile. Even worse than this sites mobile.
I support your idea, but not a fan of the software choice.

The HTML/CSS is the only thing used from reddit.

The backend, and the actual logic of the frontend is entirely original.

No python code involved at all here.

Alternative frontend/uis are possible and encouraged.

Works slow as an old man pissing for mobile....I get that it takes time, but snappy snappy is what I am used to and this takes forever to load.

This is currently an intentional stress test. Initial load is quite slow at times, subsequent loads should be much faster.

Working on some optimizations.
