Glad to be here. If it seems like I have had no activity on Voat lately is just because I've been using alternate accounts, but back when I played Modern Powers this was my username, so I guess I will bring it back to life. I like the CSS so far.

Hi. Change to dark mode, it looks nicer.

Also, go into settings to enable NSFW content, and tick experimental features. It'll update votes, comments, posts on all/new and your inbox without refreshing.

the inbox update is now on by default (even if you don't enable experimental)

Thanks for the tip. Yes, dark mode is much nicer. One thing though, and i'm a bit ashamed to confess this, but it took me a while to figure out you had to click the light bulb. I might be wrong, but I think most people are going to go to their settings to make that sort of change.

I think most people on Voat and Reddit use AVE or RES, which displays the lightbulb in the top right. I'm not sure if either site has it on the vanilla site itself though.

We're going to do a redesign soonish anyway so things will probably look a bit clearer.

A Light bulb in the settings menu, with a small text explaining it's for dark mode will surely be helpful. Just and idea, don't mean to criticize.

Voat works that way by default but there's also an option in settings.
