On balance Native Americans are the worlds most successful mass murderers. They introduced us to smoking tobacco which has killed countless billions. There are more Native Americans alive today than when we first settled. We grew their population over time with industry and helped them to kill billions. It's all perspective I guess.

What's funny about this is that this is how SJWs think. They like to say we purposely gave them "infected blankets" when the truth is cross cultural contamination simply brought a disease they had no immunity to.

edit: Not all of history is a boogeyman waiting in the shadows.

edit 2: Shit happens

Its a valid thought, although I think at this point if you are still smoking tobacco you literally are killing yourself. All the countless numbers of people who die from smoking from this decade and on, shouldn't be put in with the countless who were killed before word had gotten out that it was cancerous. I say this as I finish up a cigarette myself, so its not like I'm unqualified to talk on the matter.

But to touch more upon what you have to say, it is kind of fitting for this to happen to us instead of some other nation. Predominantly white Americans have tried to help so many other races only to have the majority of those helped races turn around and bite us. Yes, I do not deny that white men were to blame for a lot of tragedies done to other races, but I also do not deny that white men disproportionately contribute back to those harmed races more so than the others.

I started smoking back when advertisements said 4 out of 5 doctors said Tareytons were the best. Yeah, I feel so"cool" now, can't walk 50 feet w/o running out of breath and having to rest.

I should have said "I believe this is true today" where there's a warning on every pack. The Philippines is on a level that even exceeds 1950s-60s-70s-80s US. We still had a cartoon camel in the 90s if I recall correctly. That's when I started though I did quit eventually.

I've never heard of those cigarettes, and when I went to look them up all the images have people smoking them with a single black eye. What's going on with that, do you know?

I had forgotten about that. When you mentioned it I remembered the ads but forgot why until I looked it up

Tareyton's TV and print advertisements featured the grammatically incorrect, but immensely popular slogan, "Us Tareyton smokers would rather fight than switch!" Commercials and magazine advertisements featured Tareyton smokers with black eyes, supposedly to symbolize their willingness to fight to defend their brand and their devotion to the product. The slogan ran from 1963 until 1981.

In the US I believe this is true but perhaps not in places like the Philippines. They market so aggressively over there that smoking among 8 year olds is actually common. Advertisers have a louder voice than proven cancer science.

Fuck you're right, didn't even consider that part of it. I've watched a lot of documentaries about the Philippines and other places in similar to it. I was very surprised to see those little kids smoking like it was nothing. Nobody even batted an eye. I know a guy who lived there for several years and every time we talk about it he claims that place is a shithole. Way before Trump ever said it.

Yeah, that's what My dad thought when the Japs were shooting at him. He was an artillery commander so he shot back.
