So true. An oldie but a goodie. I think it was out before the internet, in xeroxed versions. I love how it points out the inherent contradiction between marketing and R&D! And how skilled the writer of vaporware documentation must be!

Good ol' Dilbert. That cartoon is a comic strip version of The Office in many ways to me. Reminds me of Close To Home, too.

If you need a professional to tie a rope to a tire and then tie that to a tree, AND you can't fucking describe a tire swing correctly, then that's your own problem.

In my experience, the engineer would have designed something impossible to make (or at least impossible to hold to the tolerances).
