I've been convinced one particular regular voat user is FBI or affiliated w/ some govt. group. You can find plenty of stories where the FBI infiltrates groups and creates "terrorists" to prosecute. In some cases they've targeted the mentally ill and in other they've offered exorbitant funding to encourage a manufactured threat. Just search it. There's no shortage of cases. I'm thinking of a particular and constant voat user that regularly encourages violence and regularly escalates conversations to death threats. I can't be the only person that has noticed this cunts pattern. Do you know who I'm talking about? When voat went down I honestly thought this cunt had created a case.
I'll agree with you on the style of posts thing. I generally keep things civil with perhaps a few contextual exceptions. I even tried to give a reasonable assessment of the JQ from an entirely rational point of view to both naysayers and zealots. That is the taste I was left with. That is also why I am here, on Phuks, spreading broccoli memes. Even with just shitposting I find myself getting a better conversation out of people here than anywhere else on the internet insofar as right now.
And that is a huge disappointment to me, when I would spend hours cultivating my thoughts in my head for a post for the night. I would spend all day thinking how I could word things correctly, what topics were best suited to the discussion, and how I could try and "reach" the masses.
I would then post my content and sit there just watching the condensation build up on my beer. Nothing ever happened. People didn't have genuine feelings almost. Its like we were all just living in a time warp, simply larping ourselves away to the horizon. I sincerely wanted to reach people, I wanted to inform people of the banking cartels, the hidden groups, etc.
But nobody has time for that, I guess. People just want to talk mad shit on the internet, get a few laughs out of the ordeal, then wake up and forget it ever happened. Fucking SOYLENT GREEN type shit! I hate it!.

I see a lot of people getting back into old hobbies which require face to face socialisation. D'n'D, board games, book clubs.There's even meet up groups you can go to for discussion, or you can start your own. I'm involved in a few. I'd recommend it, get to know people, get involved in conversations. Be sure to invite along opposing views with a commitment to civil discussion though otherwise it just gets boring if everyone agrees. Even if you are trying to "reach the masses" you can do a lot just by interacting with the smaller groups. 7 degrees of separation and all that.

Seems like some Pavlovian shit to create blind hate, probably to trick people into discrediting themselves. A psyop like that would be super easy to automate with keyword scripts.

Yeah I don't get it, the upvote thing doesn't mean shit outside of enabling you to post more / host subs etc. When it gets too high I nearly feel embarrassed and get more and more tempted to delete and start over. You may be right though, it's definitely a recognisable tactic - I see it mostly coming out of the U.S. the fake consensus and echo chamber thing. From facebook likes, to twitter retweets, to upvotes on a news aggregate. Nearly seems less about the content and more about the consensus.

I love asking people what they're doing in the world to fix whatever they see as the problem. Like if they're calling for violence, I always ask why they're on Voat posting instead of killing group X. The replies are always the same "raising awareness". Except they're not. They're calling for violence, but they're just massive cowards who are afraid of doing the dirty work themselves.
I don't support genocide or random killings. Violence begets violence and if the alt-right geta violent, it will only justify the cries and accusations of the left. There's a lot of them over there that openly call for violence. That is one thing I never understood about Voat. Yes, I understand the JQ, I see the money being moved around between corporations and into lobbyists and shills pockets. I see the owl and the societies. I see the feds. I also see that the only way we can really do anything about it, is to fucking talk about it.
The more people that are aware of this alternate side to reality, the greater our chances of toppling the system are. I would pretty much say the same message in my posts, but on one account it was filled with the "niggerjewmudslime" speech, and on the other account I didn't use a single slur and instead tried to rationalize things with fucking English.
