Goodness mate you are the archivist! I've never been able to get such straight answers fro anyone about this. Bless you. It comes as a shock to me to hear about sane being well liked. I do remember seeing those paragraphs you mention, and I remember the endless onslaught of downvoats and shill calling from both sides.
