The best time to have a severe hangover is on Sunday morning. Head over to a real Mexican restaurant, not some fake shithole, and get a big bowl of Menudo. Top it liberally with red pepper flakes and lemon juice. Have a Tecate or two to wash it down.

I personally couldn't handle mexican with a hangover but I could see it work.
Yeah cold white wine works exceptionally well to get rid of a hangover!
