I shaved my shitty weak ass beard. I will not go back to deodorant as my odor is minimal after the first month. That first month I smelled like a homeless. Showering every day that I can will ve good but weeks can go by not bothered. Overall I like what I learned about what I can and cannot tolerate when it comes to hygene. Oh and fuck washing my hair more than every two months. That shit is stupid as fuck. Quick rinse and pick out whatever rocks are in there. Niger out.
Statistically, unless you live in Africa (which I suppose would explain your name) it is odd to not bathe every day.
As for the deodorant, it's never a bad thing when you can. Even if your job doesn't entail a lot of closed spaces or proximity to others, you never know when you might end up being around people. If you think your own smell is minimal, I highly doubt others will be inclined to agree with you. Individuals can get used to their own stench, but it's all basically just micro-organisms shitting all over your body.
I wrote up a whole bunch of different shit but it got me thinking that what is not offensive to my nose may be disgusting to another and we have all loosly agreed on a common scent/s that appeal to the majority. Regardless until someone directly tells me I stink I will continue on with minimal hygene other than shower daily.
Wouldn't vouch for your mental health in general, but
Regardless until someone directly tells me I stink I will continue on with minimal hygene other than shower daily.
that sounds fairly sane to me - the alternative being baseless paranoia. I tend to think a thorough daily shower is sufficient, and that deodorant and shampoo are mostly commercial brainwashing.
Is this really that odd of a thing to do? I work outdoors so I was subjecting no one else to me.
