Everyone knows that Canadian holidays aren't real holidays. You take Thanksgiving and Boxing day and change the days randomly to make them seem Canadian, but they aren't.

I have work today, but my wife went to her brother's for lunch, and brought me a plate. Now for a relatively easy day of work with a little bit of football on the TV.

It actually works out for me - I got holiday pay (8 hours normal pay) as well as the hours I get from being here when I clocked in. Basically works out to 8 more regular hours for free for me.
