But him having previous accusations is not proof of anything, and is very weak even as evidence. By itself, its nothing.
What happened, as described in the article, was not sexual harassment. It was just a guy poorly handling rejection. If he left the bathroom when she told him to get out, then he is guilty only of being a socially awkward ass, but nothing more.
I'm not sure he needs to apologize for that.
I'm also not sure why the site is so involved with his personal life.
But what I'm most disturbed about is that some random chick can make an accusation of dickish behaviour, and a crusade against a sexual harasser ensues and destroys the guy.
We'll never know if he was actually guilty of anything.
But we know for certain that he's getting fucked over.

Yep, I feel the same way. I'm laughing at yet another SJW being slaughtered by the weapons he helped create (much like all the college administrators forced to resign), but, on the other hand, we are getting close to a "Burn the Witch!" moment with this sexual assault hysteria. All it takes is the allegation of something a female didn't like and the person is automatically thrown in to the same category with actual rapists. This guy does sound like a dick, but he does not appear to be Weinstein or Cosby. I was never a big NeoGAF user and it sounds like that place was a cesspool and I'm glad it is hopefully gone, but the manner of its demise is disturbing.
I fear that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg with this hysteria. I'm glad that actual abusers and rapists are getting called out and hopefully many of them will be prosecuted. This will also help stop further abuses happening the future, but this ever-expanding definition of abuse/harassment is going to get the point where no one cares if you call them a sexual harasser, much like being called a racist today.
i read that the statement to the mods was pretty unapologetic and confirmed most of the chick's story. also the dude had a number of other similar admitted skeletons in his closet and the mods were sick of covering for it.
i'm not too high on mob justice but when you push your influential forum into a safe space direction with stuff like this in your past, your playing with fire.
