just when the cumulative affect of all of youtube and google's terrible choices and actions had me about ready to quit ever watching videos on youtube... this thought just adds to the goddamn laundry list of media i feel like i need to produce to give better alternative services the oc they need for normies like me to want to come back.
news cast that presents stories from multiple sources' viewpoints
That could be very interesting depending on what you mean. Show how the left is trying to spin something, then show how the right is trying to spin it. Then compare and contrast with the facts. Or maybe you meant something else..
and highlights smaller or local stories
I'm not sure there's be much interest in local stories. This is an international community, so small stuff would be meaningless to most. Unless it was particularity interesting/unusual.

yeah, thats pretty much what i meant although in addition i would want relevant foreign perspectives and examples of similar news and the effects of reactions to similar events. the more i think about this, the more half baked it feels and the more work it looks like. i'll have to try the research a couple of times and see if i am able to present it in a way that doesn't look cheap to really get a feel for what kind of format would really work.

speaking of which, the last idea of mine involves starting a regular - preferably daily - news cast that presents stories from multiple sources' viewpoints and highlights smaller or local stories that don't receive mainstream attention. is that something you guys think you and/or others (even if its just a small audience) might be interested in?
