based on my grandparents, i got a 50/50 chance of heading down that road. i'm certainly no expert on mental illness and the deterioration of the brain but i'm a firm believer that the trick is to surrender to the flow. acceptance and a natural light attitude (like my grandma) make for a much happier dusk than fear and anger (like my grandpa).

I doubt lack of travel is a common symptom/cause.
I've personally woken up not knowing where I am a few times during periods of international travel. I'm not concerned about dementia (though maybe I should be).
