which also brought up additional questions, namely, are anon posts ever going to be allowed? would anybody actually use a /s/confessions or something like it without anon posts? could novelty names be made to link to existing accounts?

I would definitely use such a sub. Although I would likely mask my normal writing style (no-one but me uses semicolons anymore, for instance), and leave out details to ensure people didn't know it was me. I don't want to create alts since they just clog up data and all that; such things just don't appeal to me so much.

Sometimes I do want to talk about stuff, but I just don't want to put my name to it, for any number of reasons. These are also the sorts of things I don't want to talk to people I know in my personal life with either, for the same reason - I don't want my name attached to those sorts of things, and having to actually face those people after the fact can be scary. This is a weird thing with me, where I like being honest about things, but I also value my privacy and don't want my business out there so much.

(don't mind me, i'm just brainstorming ideas to discourage alts to all but the most narcissistic people) and/or throwaway names that don't link to existing accounts?

anon mode probably wont happen for a while. We now have a few other things in the works.

(incidentally, the squareness of pixels caused 12 year old me to fall out of love with graphic design)
