Just a general open question. Whether it's what do you do for work or for fun, what you do to distract yourself or cope with what's up in the world today, or what you do to try and make it a better place.
That's all, thanks! :)

I'm jealous of the likes of @THC and @Violentlight that they're stay-at-home dads. My wife and I don't have kids yet, but it sounds awesome to be able to do that. Of course, she's called dibs on being stay-at-home if I manage to earn enough to support all of us. :p
I'm a dispatcher at a regional food distribution firm in the United States. I primarily make sure that our trailers (which are temperature-controlled) are running at the right temperature, and make sure everything is set up OK for my relief, who comes in at 11 PM, and he makes sure everything gets out OK, and deals with issues on-the-fly as they come up during the early morning hours.
At my company, I've actually worked tons of jobs within the Operations department: from selector (getting the food and loading it onto pallets for delivery), to driver check-in, to security, and I've delivered quite a few orders myself (not in a truck that requires a CDL, though), as well as worked as a driver helper on routes. I've been here a little over 6 years, I believe.
For hobbies, I primarily watch Youtube or Netflix, and also play video games. Here on Phuks, I am also currently running a game of Diplomacy with a few other users. I also hope we can get the ModernPowers game up again at some point, although that'll likely be some time yet. When I'm not working ~60 hours a week (as my schedule demands right now due to one of my co-workers being out due to surgery), I also enjoy meeting up with some friends for various tabletop games.
After several losses in Warhammer 40K, Warhammer Ancient Battles, and Fields of Glory, I'm convinced wargaming isn't my strong suit; although one of my friends I played the most with changed my name on his Skype to "No Wins Tactical Genius" - his assertion being that I'm actually quite good, but things just don't break my way for one reason or another.
Tabletop RPGs, on the other hand, are my forte, and I've enjoyed a ton of different ones with my friends. My favorite TTRPG system is GURPS from Steve Jackson Games - it's incredibly simple once you actually get to play, and you can do virtually anything with it. We've run dungeon fantasy (a la Dungeons and Dragons), a military campaign, a merchant adventure game with virtually no combat, a mixed technology world set in something like the old west that's reminiscent of Trigun, with bits of future tech scattered around, and even a Star Trek campaign (Kirk era).
Aside from GURPS though, We've also played Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Exalted, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and Rollmaster. All of them are also fun, though they don't have the same ability to do whatever the fuck you want like GURPS does. Lately, I've been getting into board and card games more, and have been wanting to pick up a few along those lines. But without much time to sit down and play with friends, it's hard to justify the purchase. Further, my wife isn't into any of this shit at all, so I can't even play with her, though she does agree to play some things with me (like Settlers of Catan) from time to time.
Sorry for the wall of text.
P.S. I'm not sorry, actually. :p
