Left hand with watch face below wrist. I get a few more scratches to the crystal that way, but I always thought it looked cooler. Gotta look cool, ya know.
Maybe that's why I wore mine that way, being cool and all.
Besides scratches, I was thinking bracelets can stretch easier down there as opposed to moving the piece above your bone. Stretching is why I never sleep wearing a watch.
Yeah, I actually only wear my watch when I go out. Otherwise it bugs me on my wrist all the time, so just use it when I need to. I don't do cell phones (I know, I'm old - LOL), and I feel naked wandering around if I don't know what time it is.
When I wore one, it was weak side hand, above the bone, facing bottom. That minimized the damage from getting knocked around. They always got broken when worn facing top.
Digital: Left arm, above wrist, facing back. Looks goofy, but its easier to read/operate, and keeps glare down.
Analog: Left arm, below wrist, facing forward. Because an analog watch is jewelry, and is therefore more for the benefit of others than myself.
At the moment I have a Chinese no-name piece. It looks a bit of like a Junghans Max Bill. I usually go for the simple/minimalist look, but watches that display their inner mechanism are cool as well.
I wrap it around the family jewels and use it as a cock ring. Great for keeping track and setting records.
