We pay 37%. I don't look at the return.

Damn, so you're in the top tax bracket. Meaning you're at least supposed to be paying an equal portion of your income as the ultra wealthy. You and Bezos are supposed to pay the same percentage yet he pays less than 1% of his wealth gains due to these loop holes.

I'm alright with people who obey the regulations. How about directing your anger to the Internal Revenue Service and your elected officials? They are responsible for the issues that upset you.

These aren't bugs in the law, but intentional flaws thrown in for those who can afford it to exploit. You can bet your ass I'm upset with the corrupt cronies in power that lobby and force these exploits to be legit. Like trump's tax returns that he fought so hard to not expose, even though he initially thought it was brilliant to brag about how little he pays do to this fuckery. Or the great big tax overhaul that he pushed through that only further made it easier for these chuckle fucks to exploit. If you're a billionaire there should be no reason to have to take out loans to cover your general living expenses, but that's precisely the sort of shit that exploits our broken system.

I suggest you look investigate why so many wealthy UK citizens live elsewhere. If you'd like to touch off a mass exodus of wealth from the US, go ahead and follow the UK model. Or better yet, that of Denmark.

If paying their fair share is so over the line that they would rather abandon their country than do it. Then perhaps there's something fucked up with that mind set. I wouldn't call it a patriotic move, but it sure is in the spirit of unbridled capitalism.

Theft vs. Effort, that's why. It's legal to have and retain as much money as you can obtain while not breaking the law.

You think these fucks actually put in the effort to earn billions of untaxed dollars a year? Do you really think musk or zuckerberg actually work hard enough to legit earn that cash? Not just exploit their own people, communities and country to earn enough to far surpass the most lavish lifestyle?

Their stealing from the fuckin social programs that every god damn american enjoys at some point in their life. People are surviving on disability or retirement on less than $1k a month. Meanwhile these fucks can't imagine not being able to put 700 spinning chrome rims on their third mega yacht.

I seriously never ever again want to hear a single word from you concerning abuse of food stamps or other wellfare programs. Because the only difference is the system is made to exploit one of those groups, while it was designed to be exploited by the other group.

You know what? Fuck it, EAT THE RICH.

You have a lot of mis-directed anger and frustration.

I can tell you from past experience, find a way past it or it'll seriously diminish your QOL.

You upset at a guy who started selling books out of his garage and turning that business into a multi-billion dollar empire.

Well, how about the decades he spent in his BS job dreaming about something better? Your entire argument is entirely based in anger over someone becoming successful and making a bazillion dollars.

You have never heard anything from me about benefits abuse.

Adjust your meds.

My anger stems from the exploitation of people. And the over indulgence of the system in place. I'm pissed that there are two different Americas, one that 90% of the population isn't privy to, and that's by design.

I'm pissed that I work my ass off and will never be able to afford a home because these sort of fucks buy up all the property to hide their wealth.

I guess I simply don't understand how stuff like the Panama papers don't anger you.

If you haven't done so, I reccomend watching the video. Its an outraged but factual take on what I'm saying.

Keep in mind I was born in 96.

I understand that you're upset because people with huge incomes also have an opportunity to offset their taxes through charitable donations and BS deductions. The only deduction I know about are charities because that's all I was ever able to claim before I got married. If someone donates several million dollars to the red cross, should they not get a tax credit?

You're mad because someone else has more money and seems to get breaks because of it. I don't think you'll ever find an equitable situation. People who started from scratch (i.e., normal people incomes) and made a fortune don't have any sympathy for anyone else who isn't doing everything they can do to better their lives.

When ever complaint comes across as a personal attack for being financially successful, it tends to force all complaints into the trash.

Personally, I feel there are more important things to consider.

In another 20 years, it may not matter how hard anyone worked if the planet fizzles out.
