I'm surprised, I recognized all of them and it's not just because I'm a russophile. Half of them are just from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, 2 or 3 are from Tetris, and others show up in media from time to time.

That other tetris-like folk song I never heard, I only know the main one. That piece just felt off to me because it was so familiar but so foreign and I definitely don't think I've heard that variation. I don't remember what the other one was that I hadn't heard and don't have time to rewatch atm

Jokes on you, I was a hobby concert pianist for 15 years and played 6 of those songs many many times. I actually never heard two of them tho which confuses me why they were selected. He also left out the greatest Russian composer entirely, Rachmaninoff.
