Give that thing some longer legs and an M4, and we are all fucked, fucked, fucked.

Fuck an M4. We could strap a 5.56 mini gun on its arm. You gotta think with the more permissive limitations allowed by a robot.

I don't think a robot would need all the follow up that a mini gun would provide, as I don't think it would miss very often. But shit, as long as we're going big, why not a fully automatic 40mm grenade launcher like the mk-19?

I have held on to a thought that the battery tech wouldn't advance and that they could only operate for 15 mins or half an hour, less when "under load", and that these things still aren't practical for the battlefield. But I probably can't run for 15 mins or stop it from knocking down my door and clearing the room.

Damn, that's a scary thought. It's really not a huge stretch to think they could be using these as surrogates for SWAT officers or bomb disposal within a decade or so. They've already proven that virtual reality and fine motor control can actually improve the success rates of surgery, so why not our paramilitary police forces?

I wish that damn solar EMP they're always talking about would send us back to the 1700's already. Shits getting weird.
